Phelps\n Motorsports is a family-owned and operated, professional motorsports \ncompany, owned by Mike and Sheila Phelps. We compete nationally on \nmultiple monster truck racing circuits, campaigning the Monster Patrol \nMonster Trucks and Bear Foot Monster Truck. We operate both the \ncompetition race truck, and the very popular, Monster Patrol the Ride. \nOur goal is to provide safe, family-oriented motorsports entertainment \nand continue to build the Monster Patrol and Bear Foot brand and fan \nbase.
Our\n first years in the Monster Truck Industry were spent producing and \npromoting live events at racetracks, fairgrounds, and arenas across the \ncountry. After several years of overseeing the events from the sidelines\n and behind the scenes, Mike and the team built a monster truck for him \nto drive debuting Monster Patrol January 2014. This was his real true \ndesire from the beginning. He has been impressing the fans, promoters, \nand fellow competitors ever since, and his love for what he does is very\n evident every time he gets behind the wheel. Then in 2018 we decided it\n was time to build a second race truck for Clint Watson to get behind \nthe wheel full time and debuting February 2019 Bear Foot. Clint has been\n behind the wheel of Monster Patrol the Ride for the last 10 years \ngiving the fans the excitement and the true feeling of riding in a real \nmonster truck.
