Phelps
Motorsports is a family-owned and operated, professional motorsports
company, owned by Mike and Sheila Phelps. We compete nationally on
multiple monster truck racing circuits, campaigning the Monster Patrol
Monster Trucks and Bear Foot Monster Truck. We operate both the
competition race truck, and the very popular, Monster Patrol the Ride.
Our goal is to provide safe, family-oriented motorsports entertainment
and continue to build the Monster Patrol and Bear Foot brand and fan
base.
Our
first years in the Monster Truck Industry were spent producing and
promoting live events at racetracks, fairgrounds, and arenas across the
country. After several years of overseeing the events from the sidelines
and behind the scenes, Mike and the team built a monster truck for him
to drive debuting Monster Patrol January 2014. This was his real true
desire from the beginning. He has been impressing the fans, promoters,
and fellow competitors ever since, and his love for what he does is very
evident every time he gets behind the wheel. Then in 2018 we decided it
was time to build a second race truck for Clint Watson to get behind
the wheel full time and debuting February 2019 Bear Foot. Clint has been
behind the wheel of Monster Patrol the Ride for the last 10 years
giving the fans the excitement and the true feeling of riding in a real
monster truck.
Everything we have done, and everything we will do in the future is a result of the great support we have gotten from our family and friends, fans, and sponsors, and we appreciate them all very much. We can’t say THANK YOU enough to Paul Shafer for allowing us to represent you and allowing us the opportunity of running Monster Patrol as well as Bear Foot.
